ICSW is conveniently located on Chicago’s South State Street, near public transportation and parking. The city’s vibrant academic network and diverse population provide the ICSW community with world-class opportunities for personal and professional development. Our community is enhanced by the range of academic resources we provide to our students, faculty, and alumni.
Through ICSW’s collaborative relationship with Chicago’s Robert Morris University (RMU), our students enjoy full access to RMU’s library holdings, including 200,000 volumes in the library’s main collection, the 24,000-square-foot Information Technology Library, 35 online academic databases, and more than 1 million items available through I-Share. The library also offers meeting rooms, podcast rooms, SMART boards, study areas, and a well-trained and easily accessible library staff.
In addition, the RMU Library houses ICSW’s L.K. Fisher Collection, a wealth of resources pertinent to the fields of clinical social work, counseling, and psychotherapy. The collection includes print, online, and CD-ROM materials. Students and visitors may also access ICSW’s electronic archive of the dissertations submitted by our alumni throughout the past several decades.
