Distance Learning Admissions
Applications are now being accepted for the 2011 academic year.
The admission guidelines for the Distance Learning Program and the on-site program are the same — applicants must submit the same documentation and meet the same admissions criteria as on-site applicants. Distance learning students will also be expected to attend an on-site orientation held in August. Students do not need to be licensed clinical social workers or licensed clinical professional counselor to enroll at ICSW.
Applicants to the Distance learning program must meet additional criteria:
- Competence with computer and internet-based technology
- Live outside of a 150-mile radius from downtown Chicago or be able to document that work, family, or religious commitments make commuting to the on-site program impossible
