Janet Marie Schwind, Ph.D.

​Janet Marie Schwind is currently in independent private practice with a focus on issues of attachment, emotional development, and trauma for children, adolescents, and adults. She also studies at the Houston-Galveston Psychoanalytic Institute, where she is a candidate for Advanced Adult and Advanced Child certification. In June 2009, she completed additional training at the International Society for Study of Trauma and Dissociation. Dr. Schwind volunteers her time at the Mark Twain Elementary School as a member of the Parent Advisory Council and co-coordinator of international community activities.
