Ph.D.: Part Time Options

Part-Time Program

This program is an option for students who meet requirements for application to the full-time program, but who wish to work towards the Ph.D. on a part-time basis. Admission to the part-time program is similar to the procedure for the full-time program.

Student-at-Large Program

Selected courses are available each semester for students who meet basic requirements for application to the full-time program but are not committed to obtaining a degree. Admissions procedures for the Student-at-Large (SAL) program are similar to those for the full-time program.
