General Information
Computers
Students may use the library computers for word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and data analysis (SPSS and NUDIST). Also, students with appropriately equiped laptops can access the internet via wireless connection throughout the ICSW facility. Please refer to the following reservation guidelines:
- You may reserve a two-hour block of time up to two weeks in advance.
- Reservations are forfeited if users do not arrive within ten minutes of appointed time.
- It is best to speak directly to someone on the staff to ensure that your requested time does not conflict with another reservation. Contact the Director of Operations or Director of Student Services by phone at (312) 726-8480, or in person.

Hours
The library is open anytime the Institute is open. The librarian is generally available on Fridays, but please check before coming in. Specific questions can often be answered with a detailed email. Appointments can also be schedule via email.
Interlibrary Loan
In the case that an interlibrary loan is required, the Institute recommends first trying local public libraries because they retrieve articles on a regular basis. The Institute does not loan materials to other organizations, but they can be used on site by persons not affiliated with the Institute. If you have questions about loaning materials, please contact the librarian.
Photocopies & Printing
Photocopies and printouts are 10 cents per page (black and white only).
Privileges
All registered students, faculty, staff, and alumni of ICSW may borrow materials from the library. Visitors may use our materials on site from Monday through Thursday.
