Appointment of President of the Institute for Clinical Social Work

Sep 05, 2017

On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Clinical Social Work, it is my great pleasure to announce the appointment of Dr. Michelle O. Taylor to serve as the next President of the Institute.

Dr. Taylor comes to ICSW from Utah Valley University, where she presently serves as Vice President of Student Affairs.  A licensed clinical social worker, Dr. Taylor also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Educational Psychology, Master’s degrees in both Social Work and Public Administration, and a Ph.D. in Social Work with an emphasis in policy and administration.  Dr. Taylor has twenty years of experience in higher education leadership.  She is an accomplished administrator and has been a passionate advocate in favor of increasing access to higher education for underrepresented populations.

The Board of Trustees believes that Dr. Taylor’s strong educational background, experience, and skill set will enable her to lead the Institute with innovation and distinction.  Dr. Taylor’s first day on campus will be September 5, 2017.  We are very enthusiastic about the arrival of Dr. Taylor and look forward to welcoming her to the Institute and introducing her to members of our campus community.
