Tonya Octave currently holds a Master’s Degree in the field of social work from California State University, Long Beach. In Los Angeles County she oversees mental health services for children under the supervision of Children Services and Probation. Additionally, she provides consultation services to Children Services and the Department of Mental Health. Ms. Octave in collaboration with other team members organized and developed a pilot to address Commercial Sexual Exploitation among youth who are victimized. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she owns and operates a private practice. This affords her the opportunity to see children, adults, and families who are exposed to trauma related events.Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children:
