Since 1981, Institute for Clinical Social Work has been a leader in graduate social work and is the first and only independent, accredited clinical social work Ph.D. program in the United States. Offering master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical counseling and clinical social work, our alumni have gone on to a variety of careers in and out of social work. We pride ourselves on our students and the work environment we create for our faculty, from adjunct faculty jobs to our social work professor jobs, we create an accommodating environment. Careers in academia can only thrive if the environment is accessible and accepting. 

At the Institute for Clinical Social Work, we prioritize social justice and racial equality and are committed to diversifying our faculty. As a part of our community, our social work faculty is dedicated to preparing scholars and practitioners to advance the field of social work.
