Ryan O’Millian is a dedicated psychodynamic clinician with a background in providing companionship and social engagement to elders experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. He has extensive experience working in adult day treatment programs and state-funded nursing homes. He has also served as a live-in house aide for individuals with severe developmental disabilities, gaining firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by this community under strict Medicaid rules. Ryan currently maintains a relational psychodynamic private practice in Boulder, Colorado, where he provides individual and group psychotherapy. He is pursuing further training at ICSW, with a goal of creating a non-profit agency offering accessible support groups for caregivers of the terminally ill, developmentally disabled, and severely mentally ill.
