Open Position: Enrollment Specialist
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Enrollment Specialist to support outreach, recruitment, and admissions processes. This role involves managing logistics for prospective student engagement, coordinating interviews with the Dean, supporting event planning, and maintaining seamless communication with prospective students. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks to enhance the student recruitment and enrollment experience.
DESCRIPTION OF INSTITUTION:
The Institute for Clinical Social Work, in Chicago, IL, is a private higher education institution offering an M.A. in clinical counseling and psychotherapy and a Ph.D. in clinical social work. ICSW prepares scholars and practitioners to advance the knowledge and quality of practice in the fields of clinical social work and counseling and to serve diverse communities through professional and academic contributions. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Facilitate next steps for prospective students, including coordinating assessments, proctoring, and sending follow-up emails.
- Work with prospective students to schedule interviews with the Dean of Outreach, Recruitment, and Admissions and Enrollment.
- Collaborate with the admissions committee to coordinate interviews and enter student paperwork into Blackbaud (or relevant system).
- Manage applications and applicant materials in Blackbaud, and troubleshoot with applicants as needed.
- Manage the admissions inbox to handle inquiries and respond promptly.
- Reach out to prospective students, coordinate follow-up calls, and maintain communication throughout the enrollment process.
- Work with the social media team to create and post content about upcoming events, reminders for RSVPs, and event promotion.
- Create and distribute Zoom links for events, work with social media to develop flyers, and extract RSVP lists from Zoom to send reminders via email and text.
- Support the hosting and logistics of recruitment events, including coordinating with participants and ensuring smooth operations.
- Monitor and track the student lifecycle using Excel spreadsheets, updating data as needed.
- Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks related to outreach, admissions, and event coordination as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with student admissions, event coordination, or related roles preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Blackbaud or similar CRM systems is a plus.
- Ability to manage an inbox and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.

Compensation & Benefit Information:
This position will be part-time and paid a rate of between $2,500 to $3,000 per month.
This position does not include benefits.
