Jesse Godina

After a detailed and comprehensive national search and an extensive interview process, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Jesse Godina as the Dean of Outreach, Recruitment, Admissions and Enrollment at ICSW.

Jesse is a strategic and results-driven leader with over 15 years of experience in higher education and specifically in student recruitment activities. He has distinguished himself by fostering collaborative partnerships and creating equitable pathways for students to enter academic programs. Jesse has a proven track record of effectively engaged work in community organizations both in Chicago and throughout the nation to enhance program effectiveness and community impact.

In fast-paced environments, he excels through a strong work ethic and interdepartmental collaboration supporting the holistic development of the community. As a visionary leader, Jesse inspires teams and stakeholders to pursue and achieve shared objectives.

Among Jesse’s leadership experiences he served as the Dean of Enrollment Management at Richard J. Daley College in Chicago. In this capacity, he led the strategic enrollment plan to attract and support a diverse student population while advising the President’s executive council on shaping recruitment, admissions, and retention policies. He championed initiatives to increase applications and enrollment, dismantle barriers for non-traditional students cultivating partnerships with community organizations. His efforts resulted in eight consecutive semesters of enrollment growth and significant improvements in student outcomes.

His work fostered key partnerships that enhanced the college's visibility and reputation, implementing effective retention strategies that aligned with student services and leadership. His contributions led to enrollment growth for the first time in five years and the successful development of the college’s inaugural Strategic Enrollment Management Plan.

Jesse has strategic leadership experience working at Kaplan University and Rasmussen University in recruitment and admission where he increased the number of applications of qualified students and designed successful recruitment strategies and implemented retention plans to promote student success.
