The Access, Equity & Opportunity need based scholarship is designed to support students who have a financial need.
Up to $3,000 per year
Only for incoming, MA or PhD students.
This is a one year scholarship.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Admissions Status: Must be fully admitted into the M.A. or Ph.D. program.
Financial Aid: Must submit a FAFSA application.
Personal Statement: Submit a 900–1200-word personal statement (Arial, 12-point font) addressing:
Financial need.
Interest in working with disadvantaged or marginalized communities.
How you plan to "pay it forward" in the future.
Any other relevant information to assist the committee in their decision.
Scholarship Duration: This is a one-year scholarship. Please note that distance students will be given special consideration.
