“I've been able to take several continual education courses at ICSW and, overall, they have always exceeded my expectations. The presenters are active clinicians but also academics in the field of social work and psychoanalysis. From interpretation of dreams to attachment based psychotherapy, they offered a variety of topics for those interested in an in depth experience and reflection about their practice. The trainings I've enjoyed the most are those around psychodynamic theory, race and gender as it provides an understanding of the psychotherapy works as intrapsychic embedded in a social context”

“ICSW Continuing Education courses are a rare gem as they provide education opportunities for

topics related to psychoanalytic theory and psychodynamic psychotherapy which are often not

available through other education providers.

Courses are taught by individuals with expertise from the various schools and diverse areas of

emphasis in the field of psychodynamically-informed psychotherapy.

If you see a continuing education class is hosted by ICSW, you can enroll with confidence

knowing the information provided will be relevant to psychodynamic theory and provided by

knowledgeable persons who are experts in the field of psychodynamically-informed

psychotherapy.”
