This scholarship is designed to support students navigating a career change who are dedicated to making a meaningful impact on vulnerable populations through their clinical work at ICSW.
$2,500 per semester
Only for incoming, new MA or Ph.D. students
or mid-year start Ph.D. Students
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Admissions Status: Must be fully admitted into the M.A. or Ph.D. program.
Financial Aid: Must submit a FAFSA application.
Academic/Financial Standing: Returning students must be in good academic and financial standing.
Faculty Recommendation: Returning students must provide one letter of recommendation from an ICSW faculty member.
Personal Statement: Submit a 900–1200-word personal statement (Arial, 12-point font) addressing:
Current financial need.
Your career change journey.
The impact you plan to make with vulnerable populations upon completion of your degree.
Any other relevant information to assist the committee in their decision.
Scholarship Duration: This is a one-semester scholarship.
Guidelines:
Submit a separate, unique, and compelling argument for each scholarship request.
