Summer in the City 2025

Exploring community psychoanalysis outside the traditional frame

Summer in the City 2025

About the Program

We are proud to announce Summer in the City 2025, with a focus on community psychoanalysis. Over the summer, we will entertain conversations about the practice of psychoanalysis outside of the traditional analytic frame. We will look at psychoanalysis beyond current favored theoretical frameworks, the confines of the private office, common population served, language, and race.

We will also prioritize the interests of racial and ethnic minority psychotherapists and patients including the impact of the social on clinical practice. We hope to engage the broader psychotherapy community in these important discussions.

3 CEU's each
General Public: $195 per session
